Jin Shun Lee Sdn. Bhd. (JSL) was incorporated in Malaysia in 1988. From a small company with only 5 employees in distributing various range of products, such as stationeries, cosmetics and sundry piece goods, JSL has since grown to be one of the leading distributors of stationeries in Malaysia.

JSL distributes and supplies stationeries and household & hardware products to the whole salers and stationers, not only in Malaysia, but also exports to Southeast Asian and Asian countries, such as the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam. Brunei, Taiwan and Bangladesh.

Today, JSL has about 500 customers spreading all over Malaysia. JSL offers a wide variety of familiar registered brands such as FASTER, G’SOFT, G’TAPE, SDI, SUNSAKI, SELLEYS and M&G, which are all well recognizes by students and proffessionals, young and old alike.

 
   

1978 - Started as a small company by 5 self-employed partners known as SHUN LEE TRANDING, in a rented half-shared shop, distributing stationeries, cosmetics and sundry piece goods.
1988 - As the result of the hardwork and dedication of the partners in the Enterprise, the business from trading was incorporated to a Private Limited Company which was the named as JIN SHUN LEE SDN. BHD. (JSL). In the same year, SDI Corporation, which is a Public Listed Company in Taiwan, became the strategic partner for exclusivity in distributing SDI products in Malaysia.
1993 - Due to the rapid expansion of the business and the need for larger space for the storage of her goods, JSL moved to a 2 adjourned light industry buildings.
1996 - JSL proudly became the strategic distributor of Sellys Chemical Company, Australia in distributing the Selleys Adhesives and Sealants in Malaysia.
1999 - A subsidiary company, FAMOUS STATIONERS SDN. BHD.(FSSB) was established as a distributor to local supermarkers and hyoermarkets in Malaysia. Her customers include- Giant Hypermarkets, Tesco Hypermarkets, Tesco Extra Hypermarket, Popular Book Co. and Jusco Hypermarkets, which in total covering over 100 outlets overall in Malaysia. At this time, FSSB occupied a 2 shop lots of a 3 storey building at Jalan Ros Merah, Taman Johor Jaya.
2003 - JSL sets up another subsidiary company, POWERPLUS SDN. BHD.(PPSB) which specializes in manufacturing and supplying of adhesive products, household & hardware goods such as super glue products, air fresheners and gas butane refills. PPSB also assembles and repacks stationery products such as blister and products.
2005 - JSL and Shanghai Sino-Korean M&G Manufacturing Co., Ltd. of China became strategic partners in Malaysia and thus M&G Chenguang (M) Sdn. Bhd. was born.
2007 - Yet another subsidiary, RESTU STATIONERS SDN.BHD. was established to supply the stationeries and I.T. products to Government sectors. In the middle of 2009, it changed her name to RESTU IDEAL (M) SDN.BHD. to complement her suitability in business operations.
2008 - FSSB relocated her office and warehouse to a single commercial factory building at No. 12, Jalan Seroja 39, Taman Johor Jaya, 81100 Johor Bahru, Johor.
2009 - Following in the footsteps of FSSB, PPSB too relocated her office and warehouse to a single commercial factory building at No. 2, Jalan Seroja 41, Taman Johor Jaya, 81100 Johor Bahru, Johor.
2009 - As the diversifying in business looms further, an idea mooted much earlier by JSL’s top management, was finally made raal when it ventured into the hotelling business in the 3Q of  the year when construction started converting its 4 unit 3 storey shophouse left vacant by FSSB into a hotel. Completed and fully operational in the middle of 2010, JSL now proudly owns a hotel known as Hotel JSL. The hotel has 49 rooms of various choices available, to cater the needs of her customers whether be it individuals, families or business executives seeking for relaxation and solace.
2010 - To enhance its business in stationery products, JSL engaged 2 budding Malaysian talents in the form of Yise Loo, a recording artist and a 12 years old Malaysian schoolboy in the making of an actor, singer and entertainer for children’s and young students intertainments as JSL’s brand ambassadors.
2011 - Near ending of the year and sensing the needs for a greater expansion in her business in the years to come, JSL purchased a piece of land measuring approxinately 2 acres with a factory annexed with a 3 storey office block, a warehouse and a guard house in Taman Kempas, Johor Bahru which currently is being renovated. When complete in the middle of 2012, all of JSL’s opreration in Johor Jaya will be moved to this new site.
2012 - Now, since its inception 34  years ago and the vast experiences she has gained, JSL has expanded tremendously from that small trading company of 5 workforces to a corporation of more than 100 management staffs. Today, she proudly presents more than 1,000 item of products traded, which include some of Asia’s most preferred brands. JSL stands tall as one of the leading distributors of stationeries and household & hardware products. With a team of dedicated and professional sales lineup, JSL currently boasts of having customers in every state of the country, who are major wholesalers, bookstores, superstores and hypermarkets.
